You should have read the manual you cannot push start all vehicles you can damage them. Try a known good charged battery first.

SOURCE: 2002 DAEWOO LANOS PROBLEM

hi andrecti

check to see if your timing belt is broken. there should be an access hole usually a rubber cap that you can remove to see it. if there is no access hole remove the screws of the timing belt cover and open it enough to see the belt without breaking the cover. If the belt looks ok be sure there is enough tension so that it is not skipping over the camshaft pulley.
check your ignition components for dampness or to see if they are faulty (spark plugs, wires and ignition module and coil packs).

SOURCE: hi, my 04 audi a3 has a problem with the cooling

I have the same problem, it looks like there are no fuses inline with yhe fan unit. You can drive it and disconnect the fans live connection when you stop, which is a little easier and cleaner than disconnecting the battery. I would not recommend running your car without the fans connected. A cylinder head is more expensive than a fan unit. From what i have read on the net, it would seem that the control wiring is built into the twin fan unit. Have you fixed your fan yet ?

Hi I have a scenic 04 plate battery went flat got a jumped off got the car home ok .then I took the battery off and charged it up put back on and nothing. ignition lights come on but the car will not

Basically get a new battery as the old one has a plate problem and is shorting out internally. Prove this by having a load test done on the battery

"have spark at coil down to dizzy but no spark at plugs"
this can mean only 2 things.
1: spark wires are dead. all 4, kinda hard to believe huh?
2: the dizzy is way off time. so time the dizzy and now spark
lands on each wire term.
if not a dizzy engine, post exact version of engine and country.

Engine failure

When a catalytic converter is coming apart on the inside, it can restrict air flow and power, and it usually happens or gets worse when the vehicle has been running long enough to generate a lot of heat. Once it cools down, the symptoms can completely go away until you begin to drive it again. It's one possibility.

Hi,
I think that if the battery went completely flat the vehicle may have lost the security code, or the same can have happened if you did not follow the boost charge instructions when starting. If that has happened you'll need to have the unit re-encoded by a dealer. Keep in mind that starting a vehicle periodically is good but if you don't run it as well the battery will become exhausted and finally fail. The start up of any engine drains more power from the battery than any other operation. You need to start it and give it a run.

Sounds as if your alternator is not charging the battery. The battery is the main source of your engine "spark". the alternator is across the leads to supply charging to bring your battery up to the 13.2 volts that is available. Of course the alternator will run your auto if it is producing voltage, i.e. jump start, or push start. It takes a certain voltage to run your computer which monitors the battery and if that voltage is not sufficent to produce the timed spark, (battery runs down), then the vehicle will not fire on all cylindars.

Most likely:
1. The battery has a dead cell.
2. The battery terminals need to be cleaned. Remove both battery cables and clean cable clamps and battery terminals. May not need a boost.
3. The negative cable is loose where it is connected to engine ground. Or damaged, corroded, or otherwise not making a good connection.

Stopping problem is totally unrelated to alternator. There should be a rubber hose between the engine and the brake booster behind the master cylinder. Make sure that it, as well as any other vacuum hoses are connected. If you can get it running, listen for loud sucking sound from leak.
