SOURCE: 2010 Fusion throttle response

First, it is under warrantee I assume

The wrench light as I hope you found in your
owners manual, is an indication of a fault
code set,if the light stays on. Even if it went
off, the data can be found with a professional
scan tool, unless you disconnect the battery
or clear the codes. Never do that. You need
them to diagnose the issues

You went into ETC Failsafe, by the sounds of it

That could be a bad ignition coil
Rare possiblity, the TPS or Throttle Body Motor
the vehicle is too new for anything but coil issues

Need those codes

You know we have had these OBD Systems since
1983 model, that is 30 years, lots of time to get up to
speed on how things work

SOURCE: 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 Hemi. Electronic Throttle Control light is on. No accelerator response. Idles fine. Starts fine.

You need the dealer on this one, sorry but since the part is sold as the entire throttle assembly and it is very expensive it must be properly diagnosed. Do not just throw a new throttle body on the engine as it may not fix the problem.

Motor starts fine runs for five minutes then dies starts back up back up fine but no throttle response after thatfine.

if there is electronic throttle then probably needs replacement, get second hand one , or otherwise can try to take it out and clean it, if there is an access to electronic part of it try it open carefully and clean contacts with some alcohol, sometimes it helps
