What repairs were performed 3 years ago to solve the problem? Reoccuring problems can be a pain no doubt. Check with the repair shop that did the repair 3 years back if they're can repair or advise you on your options to resolve this issue.

We have a 2004 expedition with heater on or of there is cold air coming in on the passenger side floor board

Hi Michael, I'm Al the owner of Big As Auto Repair.

Michael, usually when the heat from the vents is hot on one side and cold on the other then there is a door problem OR the heater core can be clogged internally on the passenger side and doesn't heat all the way across the heater core. Michael, switch the vents to the panel and see if it is still cold on the passenger side. CAUTION: Sometimes it is very hard to determine if you have a door problem and even more so if it is a dual-zone A/C system because there is a door for the drivers side and a door for the passengers side. Here's something you can try, disconnect the negative battery cable for 20 seconds, before turning the key on turn the blower to full speed, the A/C to Panel Mode, and to full cold. Now turn the key on and hopefully if will go to the calibration. If you hear the door switching by itself DO NOT touch it until the calibration it complete. Then see if you have heat on the passenger side. If you need further assistance go to my website below. Have an awesome day Michael. Auto Repair

Air conditioner stopped blowing cool air. Added freon. Worked well for a few days. Now only blows cool air on passenger side.

Chances are you have a pretty fast freon leak, and the passenger side will be blowing warm within a few days. I have the same thing happen on a couple of my GM cars, except my leak is very slow; warm driver's side, cold passenger side.

You can try and top off the freon again, but I suspect you're going to have to take it to a shop to find the leak and get it fixed. Plan on spending some big dollars for the repair.

Good Luck.

Driver siide blows hot and passenger and rear blows cold. Is it driver's side actuator?

Had same problem on my 04 Suburban. Dealer's service dept said the passenger side temp sensor was defective causing the driver side actuator to continuously search. They replace the sensor about 2 months ago and A/C has been working fine ever since. Repair bill was $400+.

I have a 2002 Envoy the drivers side air vent blows hot air and passenger side blows cold air not matter what the temp is set on

It's an ongoing problem with Envoy. I had the same problem on the drivers side not getting cold air. It cost me $600. They said it was a door inside the dash that diverts the cold air and the hot air depending on what you want. Worked good for a year, and now the passenger side gets cold air and not hot. Another $600 going out the door.
The repair shop said that sometimes they can adjust it, but most of the time they have to replace it. Good Luck

Windshield wiper problem

this could be a result of the linkage coming apart this is located under the cowel and not easy to service. It could also be a result of bad splines between the wiper arm adn wiper arm shaft. if the later is the case you can sometimes tighten the 15 mm nut that holds the arm to the shaft. but this will only work once or twice before the arm requires repolacement. remember folks, wipers are your friend in the winter, they are not ice chippers or snow plows, always clear your windshield with an ice scraper and make sure the wiper blades are not frozen to the glass. this small form of torture in the cold will save you big $$$ in the auto repair shops.

Heat works on driver side, passenger side blows cold air.

Blend door for passenger side or blend door motor has failed. Very big job to remove dash and work on it. Except the door motor is accessable from the glove box.
