SOURCE: need help with fixing power window

I'm pretty sure, that is sold as a regulator unit only. And it's not cheap. Sometimes it's cheaper at a glass place than the dealer.

SOURCE: Saturn SL1 Shifter to Shiftstick

I had the same problem over a year and a half ago. I went to the closest Saturn dealership to get the replacement plastic piece. Turned out that the ENTIRE shift cable assembly was the smallest part that could be purchased to repair this. The cable assembly was over $200 at that time. I opted to forgo the ridiculous expense for this tiny little plastic part. True story: with a little heavy safety wire and a large washer I jury rigged the washer to hold the end of the shift cable in the fitting at the bottom of the shift stick. The washer acts as a keeper and the wire, wrapped in a basket around the back side keeps everything together. It still shifts reliably, a little looser than when it was new, but I saved $200 in parts (99% of which weren't broken) and probably a couple of hours of labor at least. One end of the cable assembly has to be attached to the transmission by the way and is not easily accessible. Sounds hokey but it really worked, still works!

SOURCE: dodge neon 2002. My alternator is not charging,

wires run direct to alternator from battery ,test big lead for a permanant 12v supplyon the back of the alternator if you have one then the problem is either the brushes worn out or the commutator worn through.or the regulator either way its a recon unit as parts are not sold seperate anymore as not many dealer mechanics know how to repair anything and the spares shops make more profit on a unit than parts so they do not sell spares to stop people like me and you from doing our own repairs

2003 Saturn vue V6changed the alternator- have red wire don't know where it goes could someone explain info to wiring and cable when replacing the alternator- thanks

The red wire goes to the positive on your battery.
It should conect to a post on the back of your alternator near where the wire harness plug goes into.
Sorry i dont have any diagrams or pictures.

Window fell in my 02 dodge durango. Found white piece of a clip in bottom of door. Motor still runs. Both wires unhooked from motor. What to do to fix it?

The piece of plastic you found was the clip that holds window to track. Sometimes you can change the clips most times need another window which has the clips installed. I would recommend a salvage yard

2002 hyundai santa fe alternator

Mostly from the bottom is what worked for me for the bottom screw and i also used the top to remove the screw that is on top. You will need to remove the front passenger side tire, six screws that hold the plastic cover and then you can get to the alternator. Dont forget to unhook the negative cable wire from your battery. I removed both wires just to be on the safer side. You will have a total of two bolts to remove the alternator, one screw to remove the ground wire (on your alternator) and one wire harness clip. I did it last week and it wasn't as bad as i thought. Good luck.

How do I replace the Alternator on a 98 Saturn Sl1

Remove the plastic inner fender shield by turning the screw counterclockwise, then pulling the plastic free from the pop rivets. Set the shield aside. Disconnect the alternator's primary charge wire. Press the tension pulley firmly to release the tension on the primary drive belt, then slide the belt off of the alternator's pulley wheel. Unbolt the alternator from the mount by reaching into the engine compartment through the wheel well and turning the two mount bolts counterclockwise. Manipulate the alternator out of the engine compartment through the wheel well. Reconnect the primary charge post nut, securing the output wire back onto the alternator. Position a new alternator into the mount and secure it by turning its bolts clockwise. Replace the fender skirt shield by pressing it back onto its clips or pop rivets, then turning its screws clockwise. Replace the wheel and Reconnect the battery's positive terminal. Here you can find the Wholesale Alternators parts http://www.autopartspoint.com/products/alternator.html

Can you help me change my headlight assembley? i have a 97 200sx SE

1.) Pop the hood to your Nissan. The headlight assemblies are only accessible from the engine compartment.

2.) Clear the area behind the bulb you are replacing. If you are replacing the passenger side bulb, you will need to remove the radiator overflow bottle. The bottle will unhook from its connective tube by pulling it toward the front of the car and up from the ground. If you are replacing the driver's side bulb, you may need to remove the battery. You will do this by unscrewing the positive (red) and negative (black) terminals that connect the battery to the engine, and then lifting the battery straight out of its housing.
3.) Remove the electrical connection on the back of each headlight assembly. This will be a bundle of wires with a wide plug sticking into the back of the assembly.
4.) Unlatch the plastic clip holding the headlight assembly case in place.
5.) Pry the small metal clip holding the bulb using your fingers or a screwdriver. Be careful not to bend, break or damage the clip or the bulb.
6.) Insert the replacement bulb into the headlight socket and reattach the metal clip that holds the bulb in place.
7.) Relatch the plastic clip holding the headlight assembly case in place.
8.) Reconnect the electrical connection to the back of the headlight assembly.
9.) Replace the radiator overflow bottle or the battery, depending on which bulb you replaced.

Ignition switch diagram

First put it in the run position, On the right side of the ignition switch housing there will be a small hole (2002 Saturn). Put a piece of a coat hanger in the hole. This will allow you to PUSH/PRESS UP up on a spring loaded tab/latch (about 1/2 inch in) to remove the ignition core/cylider. However if you are having trouble, the key is most likely worn excessivly. You will need the key to pull on to get the cylinder out. IF THE KEY will not stay in the cylinder than USE A SCREWDRIVER to lightly pry out the core. If you are having trouble than here are two tips, turn the key slightly back I MEAN SLIGHTLY BACK and try again also if the vehcicle has an automatic transmission remove the shift interlock cable from under the housing this will be a black plastic piece right underneath the cylinder, here the key will probably break the 3 little plastic clips. No worrys... If and when you do this, simply reattach it by wraping a wire tie around it.

1997 Jeep Wrangler left interior door does not work. The lock rod is visible, but I have not been able to locate the position or see the latch rod. Could it fall complete off? If so, how do I get to it to...

Not only do you have a lock rod but you have a lacth control rod. That's the one that's not working. Remove the door panel and replace the plastic clip that broke with a new one.
