I also get an audible alarm every once in a while. Is it the A/C transducer.
Be happy the 3cent part broke(led ) and not the $2000 parts
where is this LED, in the IP cluster, be nice to know, that....?

i presume the a/c on led is DOA. LED>DOA ,101.

here are the ordered steps, (DIY)
check fuses first. (we test them)
then scan it , after all if you get comm errors, that be like important..
the A/C controls work with 4 , brains
the PCM (power train brain)
BCM body
and cluster.
the AC controller module.
did you run the cluster self test first>? to see if the cluster even works right>?

cluster test, keyon while holding trip reset button
Holding this switch depressed while turning the ignition switch from the Off position to the On position will initiate the
EMIC self-diagnostic actuator test. The VFD will also display the cluster software version level near the completion
of the EMIC self-diagnostic actuator test.

audio alarms?, again scan the PCM.
see whats up,. lots possible, it the not scanning that causes blindness.
does the VFD (cluster) show errors during stated alarm.?
