Why doesn't the LED come on when I push the A/C button but the A/C works.

I also get an audible alarm every once in a while. Is it the A/C transducer.

Holding this switch depressed while turning the ignition switch from the Off position to the On position will initiate the
EMIC self-diagnostic actuator test. The VFD will also display the cluster software version level near the completion
of the EMIC self-diagnostic actuator test.

Pt cruiser 2002 Alarm red light solid on

Your alarm is ]n valet mode. If your led is pod mounted there is a button in back of it. If your led is hard mounted in the dash, you'll have a hidden switch usually mounted on the kick panel or under dash. Either way, turn on ur ignition push the button turn off the key, your led should go out. Hope that helps.

Two of my smoke alarms went off (no fire/smoke in or near house), one has a green light blinking and one has a solid green light, which need a new battery/reset?

The constant green LED means the alarm has AC power.
A flashing green light every 2 seconds without an audible alert means the unit recently sounded ( was the one activated ) and is now in latching mode to let you know that it was the unit that detected the problem. To clear the latching mode hold down the test button for 5 seconds.
Red LED flashing once per minute means that the back-up battery is connected and functioning.
Red light flashing constantly during alarm means that it is the unit that initiated the alarm siren.

Mercedes Benz 2006 C230 car alarm remote doesn't work.

The system must be diagnosed with a factory tool called a system scanner. there is no testing or diagnosis you can do at home without the repair manuals and the special tool. Soooo Sorry.....

My battery went dead and i replaced it and when i re-installed it the alarm went off and it wont start now

Put the key in the ignition, and turn forward
all the way just before cranking. Then within
5 seconds, locate, press and hold in the
valet/overide button, found under the
dash area, (push button, spring loaded)
until the installed LED (the blinking light)
in your dash area goes on solid,
and the siren chirps once.

This should reset the alarm, and reset
the grounded relay on the starter wire,
allowing you to start the engine.
the valet switch is by driver side kick panel look for small button may be stuck in wire harness to hide

I HAVE REPLACED THE BATTERY IN MY KEY FOB BUT IT IS NOT WORKING. IS THERE ANYWHERE I CAN BUY A NEW CIRCUIT BOARD FOR IT?

I bought a Chevy Trailblazer, used, had keyless remote access Viper Alarm after manufacturer. Had trouble with transmission and alarm....took to Chevy dealer they replaced transmission. Now the remote...

You need to find the black push button called the valet button. That is the overide. Get in the car turn the key to IGN as the alarm is going off and then you have either 5 or 10 seconds to push that button once and then 2-5 seconds later the alarm is shut off. To put the car into valet mode which means no alarm at all you put the key to IGN push that button once then pull key out at which point the blue light should turn solid blue.

Or option two is you open a door and hit the lock, then unlock, then lock button again on the remote and the blue led will be solid which means no crazy alarm.

Passat 200, intermittently break/ABS/ASR/STOP lights come ON

Try carefully topping up the brake fluid, this can happen when the level falls as the pads wear down especially when cornering

Alarm not working on 1999 jeep cherokee

If this is an after market alarm, the alarm is in the off position.
Look under the dash on the drivers side for a push button or switch.
Turn the key to the run position without starting the car, either push the button or move the switch in the opposite direction and turn the key off.
This should turn the alarm back on.
