Im getting codes p1516 and 02101 on my fixd sensor for my 2006 chevy colbolt and i dont understand them

You have 2 different issues. 1 P1516 is your key battery is either low or dead or needs to be reprogrammed

WRONG !!! This guy don't have A clue . Has nothing to do with key battery .
DTC P1516 Throttle Actuator Control (TAC) Module Throttle Actuator Position Performance
The commanded throttle position is compared to the actual throttle position based on accelerator pedal position (APP) and possibly other limiting factors. Both values should be within a calibrated range of each other. The powertrain control module (PCM) continuously monitors the commanded and actual throttle positions. This DTC sets if the values are greater than the calibrated range.

DTC P2101 Throttle Actuator Position Performance

The commanded throttle position is compared to the actual throttle position based on accelerator pedal position and possibly other limiting factors. Both values should be within a calibrated range of each other. The powertrain control module (PCM) continuously monitors the commanded and actual throttle positions. This DTC sets if the values are greater than the calibrated range.

Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop .

Diagnostic Aids
• The throttle valve is spring loaded to a slightly open position. This is referred to as the rest position.
• The throttle valve should not be completely closed nor should they be open any more than the specified amount.
• The throttle valve should move open and to the closed position without binding under the normal spring pressure.
• The throttle should NOT be free to move open or closed WITHOUT spring pressure. Replace the throttle body if any of these conditions are found.
Important: Operating the throttle blade with the Throttle Blade Control function of the scan tool may cause additional DTCs to set. Do not attempt to diagnose DTCs set during this function.
• The scan tool has the ability to operate the throttle control system using Special Functions. Actuate the throttle valve using the throttle blade control function located in the TAC System menu. This function will operate the throttle valve through the entire range in order to determine if the throttle body and system operate correctly.
• Inspect for the following conditions:
- Use the J 35616 Connector Test Adapter Kit for any test that requires probing the PCM harness connector or a component harness connector.
- Poor connections at the PCM or at the component--Inspect the harness connectors for a poor terminal to wire connection. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections for the proper procedure.
• If the condition is intermittent, refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections .
Test Description
The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.
The throttle valve is spring loaded in a slightly open position and should move in either direction without binding. The throttle valve should always be under spring pressure.
When the ignition is turned ON, the PCM operates the throttle control motor to verify the integrity of the system prior to start-up. This can be seen by the momentary flash of the test lamp as the ignition is turned ON.

I replaced the fuel pump. but my car wont stay running unless i hold down the gas pedal. when i let off the gas it dies. what could be the problem?

The idle air control valve or the idle air control valve passages . Or you have a vacuum leak . Is your check engine light on ? Idle Air Control Valve . While there on you tube check out how to test one an how to clean air passage .
Sensor/System
?€¢
Test for conditions which cause an incorrect idle speed.

-
Throttle body tampering, excessive deposits, or damage. Refer to Fuel System Description .

-
Restricted air intake system

-
Large vacuum leak

?€¢
Inspect the air intake ducts for being collapsed, damaged areas, looseness, improper installation, or leaking especially between the mass air flow (MAF) sensor and the throttle body.

?€¢
Inspect crankcase ventilation valve for proper operation.

?€¢
Inspect the throttle position (TP) sensor and related wiring. Refer to DTC P0123 .

?€¢
Monitor the 24X crank sensor and the CMP sensor present parameters on the scan tool. If both are not responding, test the sensor feed circuit. Both sensors use a separate feed circuit but are internally connected to power. Test all CKP sensor A and CMP sensor circuits for intermittents. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems.

?€¢
Monitor the 3X parameter on the scan tool. If the 3X is not responding, inspect the CKP sensor B and circuits for intermittents. Inspect the ignition control (IC) circuit, IC timing control circuit, low resolution engine speed signal circuit and the low reference circuit for intermittents. If these circuits become open, or shorted may not set a DTC immediately, but are capable of causing driveability complaints. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems.

?€¢
Test the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system for proper operation. Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) System Description .

?€¢
Inspect the transaxle range switch input with the vehicle in drive and the gear selector in drive or overdrive.

Audi a4 throttle control unit

immobilizer not recognizing key. vehicle will start and cut out immediately. try unplugging instrument cluster and recconecting as they sometimes develope a bad connection due to connector pins being very fine. check connection between ignition barrel and dash cluster. immobilizer built into cluster. if engine control unit has been changed immobilizer won't recognise it, must be adapted using diagnostic reader. this is done by entering instruments [code 17] select adaption [code 10] and channel 00 [erase learned values] and confirm. keys may need to be adapted to immobilizer [only at dealer as key code is needed.

99 VW Passat with rough idel

Unfortunately when you disconnected the battery, the ECU (engine control module) forgot the basic settings to run the car. That throttle body code is one of the symptoms. Try your ac if you are in a warm place, the compressor won't kick on, another symptom. I went through this twice already, once because I was putting in a stereo, the other time the battery went dead. Take it to a good VW dealer, call them first to make sure they can do it. I went to one and they said that this was not possible blah blah blah and wanted to install a new throttle body for 750 just in parts! Of course I went to a different dealer. It is a crime. So, call and find out if they can reload the basic settings. I don't know how you will get there if your car is auto, because it will probably stall at every light. Luckily mine is a manual and I could get through it.
Here is a link to explain further.
Print it out and bring it with you, it's helpful for the mechanics.
http://www.asashop.org/autoinc/oct2003/techtips.htm
Make sure you tell them, reload the settings and clear the codes before you do anything else because the symptoms point to mechanical problems, however it is the computer that is fouling the system.
Good Luck.
