I have a brand new unused remote the second one that came with the car originally and I have tried that too but it does not work. I suspect it is either the sensor inside the car or something worse, though I do hope it isnt the latter. Please help!!
Well... Javaid Lotia,
Lets start with happy (more inexpensive) thoughts first...
Security TYPICALLY requires that you have an ignition key
or a properly equipped and trained locksmith has direct access
to your car to INTRODUCE an "NEW " fob to your vehicle.
This should be in the OWNERS MANUAL... for whatever reason MOPAR no longer cares!!
I couldn't locate a free ('94) one to save my life.
BRING all FOBS
get into car... (seriously)
put key in ignition turn to on/off (to get feel)
press unlock...
Open door (leave open)
Press lock
Operate ignition from off to "on" (leave on)
Press transmitter lock button & hold for 20 seconds
Observe wink from security light overhead console (?)
Turn off ignition inside 20 seconds...
Confirm function w/lock/unlock of the "programmed" FOB.
Repeat that process for you old fob
(after getting a new 2032 battery)...
Press will work for up to 4 FOBs.
