Get somebody to a diagnostic check, if you can

There's other things which can cause the problem you describe- such as camshaft sensor, ignition module and even a fuel pump failure. Don't waste time and money replacing parts in the hope of fixing the problem - it usually doesn't work..

Give a mobile mechanic a call and get a diagnostic check done. Identify the problem first. Then fix it. Cheapest and easiest way.

Why wont my car start it died going down the road replaced starter?

If you put a volt meter on the battery and it reads 12 volts before you cranked the engine and it drops to 10 volts or less when you crank the engine, this indicates you have a bad cell in the battery and you should replace the battery because it is not holding the charge. The loud click sound coming from your starter is because you are not supplying enough voltage to energize it.

When car starts sounds like timing is off then it dies

Have the fault codes read. Replace faulty items. Use only genuine items as non-genuine replacement are not always compatible with the OEM fitted CPU units. Check for faulty fuel pressure regulator in fuel manifold

I have a 1998 dodge dokota pickup truck 3.9 liter engine the truck stopped one me had it towed to mechanic replace crank sensor cam sensor had computer checked truck not firing want start

It should have two relays that control power to the engine/ecm and the fuel pump. One of them probably failed.

I would call previous owner and ask them to explain the issues it had to be preexisting and go from there. Failing that call a tow truck or a mechanic for road side assist.
