this website www.reliable-store.com
it's a very good website for vehicle problems even as old as 1991 ford..
No, the dme is coded by vin, the car would not start if you tried to program, you could perhaps snag the ews and lcm from the same car you got the dme from. But the. You might have a issue with the new lcm trying to update mileage to the old Komi. A lot less headaches to just order one coded from BMW why do you think it needs a dme?
hi you will have to ask the previous owner for this or take it to a main dealer, there are unlocking code programs, but you will have to supply the serial , the make and model of the unit before anyone may be able to help you, but i think you as the owners that had it before or its a dealer visit...hope this helps
You will need to go to the Saturn Dealer to obtain the code, the Radio Code Is VIN# specific. Check your Owner's Manual, sometimes it is printed inside of there, or the previous owner may have written it down.
Whenever you disconnect a car battery, the radio needs to have the Security code installed. It is for theft protection. It is the code you programed into it when you bought the car. If you bought the car new, the code is usually a series of zero's, usually 3 or 4. If you bought the car used, you may have to contact the previous owner, & ask what they used as a radio code, or if they recoded it. If that is not possible, you'll have to take it to a dealer, to have the radio reprogrammed. If you have an owners manual, it will be described in there also, on how to do it all.
