I have a dodge stratus 05, will 10% ethanol gas harm my car engine? and which cars would be ok with it? thank you.
At worse you will lose maybe a half mile or mile per gallon. The ethanol is added so that emissions are improved. Its just the government trying to clean up the air a bit more with older cars that are on the road. Ethanol (a type of alcohol) burns cleaner and more completely than regular gasoline does. So no harm, and the drop in mileage is so small on a vehicle like yours I doubt you'll ever even notice it.
Cant harm your car with an ethanol sir, actually i drive a 1990 carburator type nissan maxima and using ethanol but nothing changes. hope this helps
