How to stop anti theft device activation

We had battery prob and just got replaced. Everything seems fine except the anti theft is stopping the car starting. It says if battery is disconnected whilst car is locked and reconnected then the device kicks in....this maybe was the kids trying to undo to see battery type, just popped hood and didn't unlock car, then reconnected. Anyway, I have tried locking car and unlocking, turning key to ALT, unlocking boot, hood, opening and closing doors and unlocking from passenger side. Nothing is resetting the anti theft ...pls help

Unlock car, disconnect battery and leave fo 10 mins. Reconnect battery and see how you get on

Testimonial: "Thanks for help. We tried but didn't work. As soon as I try starting the car the lights start flashing. Maybe is some malfunction."

From a few uk sites worked out that the tiny toggle switch under the dash was part of the solution. Flicked it one way, turn car to on, flicked it other way, turned car to start.....didn't work first time, but when I reversed the side I started from with the toggle switch, worked the 2nd time...car started straight up after 6 weeks...omg such a little thing caused so much problem without the know how !

New neutral saftey switch car rolls in all gears

Has anyone checked to see if the shifter is connected to the transmission ? Sounds like something broke between the two components. If the trans is in anything but park or neutral the engine will not crank and the car will roll.

1997 Chrysler T&C Van - gauges are out, intermittent start prob

do you have a (FOB) to lock and unlock your car. Because when you press the unlock button it is suppose to disarm the anti-theft control, which will allow the car to start but not run for long.

Anti-Theft Immobilizer on my 2003 ION

ok you need to re-learn your passlock. to do this. turn the key all the way to start and leave it on. you will then see the passlock light flashing. let it sit for 10 mins. or until the light stops flashing. then turn the key off and take it out for 30 secs. repeat this 2 more times. after the last 10 min cycle when the light stops flashing. take the key out for at least 1 min. now try to crank the vehc. that should solve your problem. have a great day!

Anti-theft system seems to have been activated?

Some months ago I began starting the engine of my 2001 Chrysler 300M but turned it of before it really started "was sloppy with the key". The anti-theft system went on for some unknown reason. I disarmed it by disconnecting one of the battery connections under the hood with a wrench. I connected it again, the anti-theft system was off but the battery was dead. Battery was OK after recharging, I have had no trouble since then.
