2002 TL WONT TACK RADIO CODE

Your vehicle's audio system will disable itself if it is disconnected from electrical power for any reason.
To make it work again, you must enter a specific five-digit code in the preset buttons. Because there are hundreds of number combinations possible from five digits, making the system work without knowing the exact code is nearly impossible.
You should have received a card that lists your audio system code number and serial number. It is best to store this card in a safe place at home. In addition, you should write the audio system's serial number in this owner's manual.

If you should happen to lose the card, you must obtain the code number from your dealer. To do this, you will need the system's serial number.

If your vehicle's battery is disconnected or goes dead, the audio system will disable itself. If this happens, you will see ''CODE'' in the frequency display the next time you
turn on the system. Use the preset buttons to enter the five-digit code.
The code is on the radio code card included in your owner's manual kit. When it is entered correctly, the radio will start playing.

If you make a mistake entering the code, do not start over; complete the five-digit sequence, then enter the correct code. You have ten tries to enter the correct code. If you are unsuccessful in ten attempts, you must then leave the system on for 1 hour before trying again.

If the code card is lost, your dealer can access your code with your radio's serial number. To access the serial number, turn the radio on. It must display ''CODE'', then turn the radio off. Push the preset 1, preset 6, and power buttons at the same time, then quickly release. The serial number will appear in two sets of four digits (information obtained from Owners Manual).

Hope helps (remember to rate this).

Chevorlet escalade radio unlock

GM DELCO THEFTLOCK RADIO UNLOCK CODE:
1. Press and hold presets 2 and 3 for about 5 to 10 seconds until you
get 3 digits on your display. This is the first 3 of 6 digits you will
need, so write 'em down.
2. After doing step one and writing down the code, immediately press
the
AM/FM button to get the last 3 of the 6 numbers you'll need, and write
'em down. (if you wait too long between steps 1 and 2 and the LOC code
displays again, just start over).
3. Call this number, it's a prerecorded message, so don't worry about
having to talk to anyone...1-800-537-5140. The voice will ask if
you're
calling for Chevymag-glass_10x10.gif, Pontiac, Cadillac, etc... When you here him tell
you
to press "2" for Pontiac, press 206010 and hit the # key. He'll ask
you
for the 6 digit code that you've written down. Enter that and press
the
* key. He will then give you a code, and the option to get additional
4
digit codes, but one should be sufficient.
4. Follow the normal procedure in your owners manual for unlocking the
radio with your new code...press the hour set button on your radio
until
you get the first two numbers of the code, then press the minute set
button until you've entered the last two numbers. Immediately press
the
AM/FM button once the correct code is entered and the code SEC or
"secured" will be displayed on the display screen. Now, just turn the
radio on, and your ready to roll.
There is an additional step you can take to remove all codes from the
radio and start from scratch by entering your own personalized 4 digit
code so that it won't get you in a pickle again! Just repeat step 4
and
you should get a display screen that reads ---. This means the code is
out, and you can now program your own code. Of course, once you
receive
the 4 digit code from the GM recorded message, just keep it in a safe
place, because you can use that same code again and again should you
have any more problems with it in the future. Good luck, and yes, it
does work.

I have a 96 saturn sl2, i disconnected the battery and now the radio doesn't work is has LOC on the radio face. can you tell me the code?

Nobody can legally tell you the code. Contact any Saturn/GM dealership and have your VIN written down as a reference. It might take them a day or three to get back to you, but usually they can track the unlock code from VIN data you supply and relay that information back to you. Also, check your owner's manual - that PASSLOCK security code may have been manually written inside the cover flap, typically 4 digits. Use push buttons on the radio face to enter the code, a combination of pushing the seek/tune and scan/skip arrow keys will usually do the trick.

Outside of that - might have to let the dealership handle it for you.

I have a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero, the Theft Lock on the radio triggered somehow, how do I unlock it?

you turn the ignition to acc or on and use the hour and min buttons to enter the 4 digit code if you are not the original owner it may be written down in the owners maual. if it is not written down it is possible a code was not assigned in this case it will be all 0's and you just need to push the power knob. if it says sec. then you have successfully unlocked the radio if not you will need to go to the dealership so they can unlock it. or you can try this

1. Turn the ignition ON (The radio should display "LOC")

6. You now have a six-digit number, the first three digits are from STEP 03 and the last three digits are form STEP 05
7. Call 1-800-537-5140
8. Press 1 then # (pound). You'll hear "Invalid Code, try again"
9. Press 139010 or 106010 or 206010 or 202107 then # (pound). You will be asked to enter your four or six digit code followed by *
10. Enter the number from STEP 6 then *
11. Listen to the four-digit number and write it down. It will be repeated twice
12. Turn the ignition ON (The radio displays LOC)
13. Use the MN and HR buttons to enter the code from STEP 11
14. Press the AM/FM button. The radio display changes to "SEC". Your radio is now "un-locked" and usable.

Saab 900 radio code

If your radio beeps and will not turn on, such as after battery power has been disconnected, then you must enter a security code to restore its function. The car should have come with a "special card" listing the radio's code and instructions on how to restore operation, but it is common for people to buy used Saabs without getting the radio code. If you can't find the card, start with the simple stuff. Look through the owners manuals and see if it has been written in. Try any 4 or 6 digit codes that you see. To enter a code, you must turn the radio on so it beeps and hold down the DNR button (-94 models) while entering the 6 digit code. For '88- 9000 radios, turn on the radio, press the band button, and then type in the 4 digit code. The procedure for other radios may be slightly different. If you don't find the code in the owner's manuals, remove the radio from the dash using the two little prongs. With the radio out, check the outside of it for possible codes, and try any you find - you might get lucky. Write down the serial number and your car's VIN number. Call up a local Saab dealer and tell them that you need your security code. They will run a check to make sure your car or radio hasn't been stolen. If everything is OK, they will contact you with the code.Here the links of there site;
http://www.saabcentral.com/index.htm

If the wrong code was entered, press and hold the "band" button until the word "code" appears then enter the correct code. (this is for the classic 900 clarion radio).
If you can remove the radio from the dash . Pop the radio out and the correct code will sometimes be written on the top or in the back of the radio.
