2006 Hummer H3 a/c & heater fan/blower failed

2006 Hummer H3 - a/c & heater fan / blower failed. Most posts I read are indicating the fan/blower motor or resistor pack or wiring is most likely the culprit. All fuses are fine (seriously, I pulled every single one). I'll dig in under the glove box and see what's goin on under there tonight.

Probably too late now, I am sure you have already fixed it, but mine did this and it was an electrical part that is mounted right beside the blower fan. The part was OK, but the plug into the part was arcing and burned out the connection. A Chevy mechanic told me this has been happening to MANY Chevy products. I had to buy a new part and plug assembly with new wires, about 100 dollars, and I spliced them together. It was an Easy fix, but I shouldn't have had to do it :(

just a warning, this problem is usually from a bad fan motor drawing too much current, it will be a reacurring issue if the motor is not replaced

2006 Humer H3, Won't start and electrical resets itself

Check the battery terminals real good.Make sure they are clean and tight.Check and see if any of the side terminals are leaking. As far as the blower motor. It is more than likely that the blower motor resistor is bad.It is located by the blower motor.Hope this helps.Good luck.

I have a 2007 H3 hummer, suddenly my fan does

It's the HVAC blower resistor in the air plenum under the glovebox. New resistor and wiring harness is about $70 at the Hummer Dealer.

Cooling fan is not pushing air out.

That could be the blower motor resistor or the blower motor

2006 H3 Hummer Ac/Heater fan motor will work great and run, the next time I start and drive not come on at all. Then sometimes after driving about 15 min just kick on and run and do great.

I brought my 2006 H3 in to the dealer for the same thing. My blower stopped working all together but it started as an intermittent problem. He said he had to replaced a diode or resistor either behind the switch on the dash that controls the fan or on the fan motor itself. Have not had a problem since but that was only about 4 months ago.
