Make sure the PCM numbers match or they won`t interchange.

Most likely yes but its a 50/50 shot as most salvage yards dont warranty electronic parts.

Temp gauge says hot. anti-freeze is full.no leaking head gasket and motor stays cold after running

Bad step motor in the instrument cluster that controls the temp gauge . The best way to check it would be with a professional type scan tool that can view sensor data parameters . You first need to know how that gauge gets the info to set the correct temp . There is a coolant temp sensor located in a coolant passage on the engine . This sensor is a input to the PCM - engine computer . The PCM needs this info fuel managment , the PCM also sends this info. to the instrument cluster over the Class 2 data network ! There is a microprocessor inside the I/C that deciphers these message bits an uses the step motor to control the gauge needle ! Aren't computers great ?
How to repair GM Instrument Cluster Speedometer Gauge Stepper
This guy says 03 to 06 , i have seen gauge's on earlier models go out too . You could by a used cluster on eBay or at a automotive salvage yard or junk yard , what ever you know them by . $20 buck's at salvage yard , more on eBay .

Am working in a mazda mpv 2001, i think the problem is the pcm-ecu-ecm, ebay repaired for around 200 and they need the vin number, is this the only part for my van? or can i get one in the yank yard?

If you are sure the computer is the problem... remove the original one and it will have a tag on it with part numbers. Find one at a salvage yard and compare part numbers to make sure they are the same and it should work. The only thing that may cause issues is if the vehicle has a security system and a relearn/reprogram may be required

I have a 1995 GMC K1500 Suburban SLE with a factory AM/FM Cassette radio in center of dash. I want to add a "slave" cd player in the storage compartment directly under the radio. I know I need a...

Best bet is to either go to a salvage yard or check out car-part.com and get the factory cd player It will drop right in the brackets are part of it. the cable you will need to get from the dealer or salvage yard also. It is all plug and play.

Radio does not play cd

This is yet another problem that can be traced back to faulty PCM in equinox.

I have same issue. I stopped using it and just use MP3 or satellite radio.

Fuel relay burns out in my 1997 silverado 1500 4x4 350

search a salvage yard for a replacement unit take unit and wiring harness from salvage yard usually about 30 -40 bucks if u just replace the box and the wiring was burnt and or shorted than ur problem wont be fixed but if u can find a salvage yard replacement with the wiring harness then its basically a plug and play replacement

Looking for BCM for 2001 Dodge Durango - needs replacement

Your looking for the PCM? The computer module in the Durango that controls everything on the durango? If so, then the PCM is made for each Durango specifically. You cannot buy a used one or from a salvage yard. Each PCM is programmed with the VIN# from that Durango. So, any other PCM will not work. You have to go to a dealer and have them get a generic PCM (or autozone $240 if you trust them?) and it will cost with installation and reprogramming? $450.
