LOST KEY HAVE SPARE KEY WONT START HOW DO I BY PASS ANTI THIFT TO GET IT TO WORK

his anti theft, light is on.?
and it don't crank, starting comes after cranking . not before.
lets do the steps. (operators guide lost sure)
1: KEY on, lamps all self test in cluster.
2: I see the antithief light stuck on this time. oops.
3: i turn key to crank, starter motor is silent.
4: means the the antitheft box does no like your key .
5: i use the 2nd spare key and it works , lost 2nd, OOOPS a daisy. now in a pickle.

Sorry Debi , It does not work like that ! If the engine computer doesn't receive a signal from the anti-theft system , it wont let the car start . Could disable fuel , ignition , an sometimes it wont let the car crank over , There are bypass kits you can by , need to google it for your car. Other wise you'll lock up the system an it won't work .

It's hard to say for sure since it sounds like it could be many things. If you turn the key and you hear a few clicks coming from the engine and then nothing, it could mean a very very weak battery. Your first step should be trying a different (fully charged) battery. Good luck.

Is the anti theft light blinking in the dash display?

Those vehicles have a chip key. It has like a little chip in the key that the car picks up and will allow it to start. But if you dont have the key your not going to start it

If you could disable it, they wouldn't call it anti-theft.

try the spare key ,if no spare then make sure that you havent lost the chip out of the key ,if so then call the dealer to have it sorted or a auto locksmith

you need to use your key fob to reset the anti theft system you should be able to find the procedure in your owners manual under battery replacement.

no way you can by pass try teh spare key and check the existing key hasnt lost its chip

If it starts and stalls immediately after, it is very possible that its caused by the immobilizer (anti thieft) try using your spare key .
