JVD car radio. Why won't it shut off when key is shut off?

Check wiring and see if power source is to wrong lead, usually the constant power wire would be wired to the clock or auto antenna. The poer source for turning the radio on should be wired to the power source that is tied to the ignition, so when you turn your key off the power will be off as well.

My factory jbl amp stoped working. radio # 2 fuse is good though. Is there another fuse in the line, or on the amp itself ? 2000 camry xle

My 2004 liberty won't start. i turn the key it hums, lights are very dim, and radio won't come on

My car want crank battery is fully charged radio lights and etc work when i turn the key over it does not say nothing.

I would check the starter relay first, here is a picture of were it is....Next make sure the battery ends ar clean and tight...if it still won't turn over then it is probabley the starter itself...

The radio has 2 power feeds, one is wired to battery so it has power all the time for memory and the other power feed is from the ignition circuit so when you turn the ignition on it turns the radio on. You need to determine if the ignition feed is shutting off with the ignition. If the power feed is shutting the power off then there is a problem with the radio. If not then there is a problem in the ignition circuit.
