Hi Duane:
Think I'll "shoot from the hip" on this one.
Just for the fun of it, check the pcv valve and the related vacuum lines.
The auto choke when cold means running rich and the fast idle is OK. When it warms up it wants to run lean and it sounds like it might be too lean. PCV or vacuum leak may be the problem.
It also would be a reasonable idea to to a carb flush and to add a conditioner like SEA FOAM to help clean things up if the fulel gelled while it was parked.
Hope this helps.

Automatic transaxle issues on 95 Saturn sl2. I

saturn was never the best model of car sold! amazed it has lasted this long. sounds like a re-build (not worth it)- possibly a 're-built' replacement. labor would prob. cost more than tranny! prob. need axles & bearings replaced as well. part it out and get a newer compact ford, or toyota product!! good luck!

96 Saturn SC1 (automatic): b 4 installing (CPS) crankshaft position sensor...she ran beautiful...now, rough idle and the moment she's put in gear, she stalls-out. I shimmed the sensor, she runs OK, but...

If it ran beautiful I don't see why you installed CPS. ???

The CPS and CAS should only be replaced if the car is stalling or shorting out. I just changed the CAS on my 95 Talon but only because it was cutting off like I turned the key off.

If the only thing you did was change the CPS then it's not lined up right. Every car is different but the CPS usually has to be aligned.

it can be any of several things but the best bets are on the throttleposition sensor or the oxygen sensors, take the car to a shop and have a obd 2 code reader used to read the engines computer.
