It does not have a separate fuse, it is on the same fuse as your tail lights. If your tail lights are working and your tag light is not, then you will either have a bad tag light bulb or a bad wire, connection, or bulb socket.

SOURCE: License Plate Lights

Probably not... For some reason license plate light wiring and sockets are VERY prone to corrosion. Make sure to check the light sockets and try to get to the wiring close to them, your problem is more than likely very close to the lights.

SOURCE: License plate lights do not work.

The licence plate lights are in the same line as your tail light wiring assembly. I assume your tail lights are working or you would have got a ticket for that. The wire is either cut, broken or unhooked from the tail light wires (which usually are brown). If you can not find the problem, you can always run a new wire to the tail light wire from your licence plate wire. Then they should work.
Your other problem is that the license plate ground is rusty & not grounding, which would also not let them work, so you should probably check that first. Rick

License plate light

The licence plate doesn't have a fuse, it comes on when you put your lights on, if you have your park lights on and the plate light isn't working then generally it's just a bulb, see what you can find, cheers good luck

Change the license plate lights in my 2002 buick rendezvous cx

On most GM cars, SUV's, and light duty trucks, the license plate light bulbs are held in place by 2 screws...located on each side of the plastic lens...remove these 2 screws then wiggle the entire assembly out so you can view and replace the bulbs...Again most GM cars have 2 bulbs also...Hope this helps.

Where are the license plate fuse

Usually the license plate light is on the same circuit with the tail lights.
If the tail lights are out also, the fuse is either in the box under the dash or on the end of the dash, or in the box in the engine compartment.

License plate lights stopped working, tried license plate lights stopped working, tried replacing bulb, still doesnt work. is there a fuse to check? where is the fuse?

there is a fuse panel inside the car usually near the driver area, check the knee bolster (below steering wheel) close to the driver door, also check the side of the dash where the driver door closes.

License plate ligts of my toyota corolla S 2-001 doesn't light up. I check the fuse and all of them are ok.

use a test light and check at the ligh bulb socket to see if you have power there. also check for ground
this light circuit is connect to your tail lights so check to see if it has an open circuit.
