Shift linkage cable broke off between shiftlever and transmission

can you drop your steering wheel it should be 2 bolts and from there you should be able to see where the cable connects to the back of the shift linkage , should be held on with a 10 mm bolt or torx screw

hey check your tv cable adjustment type it in in google its hard to explain where it is but google will tell you where it is and how to adjust it

The best way to adjust it is to hook a pressure gage to the TV pressure port located on the left side of the transmission just ahead of the linkage. You want it to be a zero at idle but pressure starts moving as soon as you move the linkage.

Sounds like either a part is broken or something needed is missing. First you need to know what is supposed to be and then you can figure "what is or isn't".
If you don't know enough about it, I would suggest you find someone who is better qualified to help make a determination here.

im working on one now, i just used a flathead screwdriver and lightly pryed it loose, it work and with no damage to the shifter or cable.
