You have to reach in behind the dash cluster. Remove the bulb carrier you think it is and then shine a light up behind there. If the engine check light glows, you have the right one.
Take out instrument panel completely. Remove all bulbs and hold the panel up to the sun while looking at the back of it. You will see where each warning/info bulb goes.
Are you sure the check engine light bulb is out. This isn't something that you see go out. If is really is out you will need to take the whole spedo assembly out and the find the check engine light bulb and replace it.
Hi,
I'm a little confused. You want it to come on?
The check engine light comes on when you have a problem with the engine or drive train. If it hasn't come on, that's a good thing. It's not meant to be a reminder to check oil or anything like that.,, Please clarify? Thanks!
