SOURCE: hard starting, dies when throttle opened quickly.

Sounds like a kill switch is going bad or ignition wire getting grounded along the frame or elsewhere. A bad ignition switch can do the same thing. Check the side stand kill switch if your bike has one. Check all electrical connectors. A loose or dirty connection can screw up the works.

Please rate this solution. Thanks allarismith!

SOURCE: engine died & wont start no spark ignition coil tested good

try your ignition module in the distributor much more likely. just install rebuilt distributor if that is the problem , if you just replace module the main distributor assem will **** out shortly after.
Make sure you check for broken timing belt also it is one of those two!

If your GWM Steed 3 is experiencing sudden power loss and only starts with dashboard lights, it could be due to various issues. Check the battery, alternator, and fuses for any issues. GWM-STEED 3 2.2 LUX P/U D/C-2011 - Car starts normal until it gets hot then dies.

The problem you're experiencing with your 2011 GWM-Steed 3 2.2 Lux P/U D/C, is that the car starts normally but dies as soon as it gets hot and the petrol light and digital mileage don't come on when hot, as well as the OBD sensor not working when hot, could be caused by a few different issues. Here are a few possible causes and solutions:
  1. Engine control module (ECM) - The ECM may be overheating and malfunctioning, causing the engine to shut down and preventing the fuel gauge and OBD sensor from working properly. A mechanic will need to diagnose and replace the ECM if necessary.
  2. Cooling system - The cooling system may not be functioning properly, causing the engine to overheat. A mechanic will need to check the radiator, water pump, thermostat, and hoses for any leaks or blockages.
  3. Voltage regulator - The voltage regulator may not be functioning properly and causing the voltage to drop when the engine is hot. A mechanic will need to diagnose and replace the voltage regulator if necessary.
  4. Wiring issue - There could be a problem with the wiring that connects the sensor for the fuel gauge, OBD sensor, and voltage regulator. A mechanic will need to check the wiring and repair any damaged or corroded wires.
  5. Fuel pump - There could be a problem with the fuel pump, such as a clogged fuel filter or a malfunctioning fuel pump. A mechanic will need to diagnose and replace the fuel pump if necessary.
It's important to have the vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic to diagnose the problem and perform the necessary repairs. Some of the issues can be easy to fix, but some require more extensive repairs and knowledge of the systems.
