only 2 things could be wrong with it. the ignation switch or main relay. usely the main relay burns out that what happen to honda and acrua. change the main relay first see want happen than the ignation switch.
not sure on later models to be honest ,check for a feed from switch first before you spend money .Normally speed 4 is a direct feed to motor on most cars but this is a dare i say it a RENAULT
On the side of your transmission will be a switch with several wires
coming out of it. This is your reverse switch that turns on your
reverse lights and most likely needs to be replaced
If you can not find the problem is, maybe you can wire directly from your fuse box 12v to your radio hot wire, and use your radio switch turn on and off, omit the ignation switch.
