I washed my truck and it cost me $5.00, Yeah! It seems that when the rotor is real shiny and gets a speck of brake dust on it, then it will make an awful whining noise (only when taking off). If I want I can sand them down, but a car wash will do.

Give me a little more information. Did the truck stall out? Did you have any trouble restarting. Did the check engine light stay on? A bad O2 sensor wouldn't cause the truck to quit running. Probably wouldn't even make it run bad. We need to look elsewhere. If the truck is drivable , take it to a good auto part store or repair shop and have the computer scanned for trouble codes. With the multitude of sensors and computer controlled systems, the codes are our only way to determine what is happening with the engine.

First take mass air flow sensor off and clean it with a non-chlronated brake cleaner and reinstall it and see if that helps.Then if that did'nt help check the fuel pressure because low fuel pressure will do this, make sure its within the specs which is 55-60 psi with key on and engine off.Also there are several sensors that will cause this to like crank sensor, throttle position sensor.

No i think that where the battery ran flat it has brought the immobilisor on ,try the spare key and if that doesnt work call the dealer to have it reset again

could be a few things,ignition switch,pass lock sensor.have it scanned and that should point you in the right direction,whatever you replace...the theft system will have to be relearned,that takes 30 minutes to do in your driveway or ten minutes at a reputable shop,google the relearn process..pretty easy,hope this helps
