Looking for code research on a 528I bmw p1113 &p0603

How about the basics? Ignition system ok (plugs firing)? Fuel pressure at the engine OK? No trouble codes when a code reader used?

The mil is on (Check engine light) if in america you can stop by a autozone or orielly parts store to get the codes read then any technician with that codes will be able to better help you

Just plug in a code reader and select clear codes.

EML means that your cars computer(ecu) has detected a fault from a sensor on your engine.You need to have your car diagnosed to determine what fault code it is and then you will be able to solve the problem

P1113- IAT sensor open/short circuit

I had a BMW 540i 2000 and that happen to me, my advice is to get the battery out of the car and recharge it. It would be advisable to have it check for malfunctioning. If it is ok, put it back on and the car will start. If not good, put a new battery, the car will start and all the lights will work in order.

Probably you could loos your radio set up and clock set up if you took too much time in the replacement of the battery, don't worry, reset the clock and the radio stations.

have your charging system checked to make sure alternator is charging to specs, also make sure no light are left on, (trunk light ,glove box mirror light.it sounds like you may have a draw somewhere, may be alternator or something is on, hope this is helpful.

ABS/ASC module is faulty
CLASSIC ABS FAILURE SYMPTOMS:

Have a BMW certified mechanic check the cars computer I had a similar problem on a 528i the chip for the transmission had gone bad and bridging the chip allowed the transmission to shift properly if this is the case replace the chip.

Had the same problem on one.Ended up having to replace the intake cam sensor to cure problem.BMW recomends replacing both at the same time.
