on a 95-97 it's easy, no need to drop tank, just have to remove trunk floor mat, trunk trim cover, seat cushion and back and then 8 bolts on the set plate on top of tank, 3 nuts on fuel pump bracket, disconnect hose and pull it out!

1990 lexus LS400 will stall to the point of cutting off. The tack will drop below 1 and the car will die even if the mash the gas pedal to the floor. Removed the fuel pump and ran hot from the battery....

How do i locate the factory amp in a 1990 lexus ls400
in 1990 LS400, the amp is only for the sub, its located between the fuel tank and trunk liner. you can reach it by removing the trunk liner which cover the fuel tank right behind the rear seat. hope this helps
