How do i fix error code u0100 on my 2009 saturn aura xe?
I had been getting several different error codes for months but not consistent ones. Then one day it died - no crank/no start. I replaced starter, battery, battery cables, battery connections, checked fuses, checked wires, replaced ignition switch and when boyfriend tried to hotwire car it cranked but did not start. Now anti-theft deterrent light is on and my key fob hasnt worked for years and when boyfriend took out the ignition lock he accidentally broke a few copper wires that were behind the ignition lock housing. My dash also says powersteering and service esc, but scanner says u0100. why wont it start? how do I fix it?

That sounds an awful lot like the ECM is having trouble. Since the model year is nearly 7 years old, it is possible that the ECM is toast or that a wire or two has a corroded connection. Have a look at this information: http://engine-codes.com/u0100_saturn.html

i know few
error codes/ fault codes, wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, torque specs, engine info, switches functioning, assemble, disassembly, complete refurbish, repair, installation every single thing is covered
within seconds u can get the access and it's totally illustrative complete
Your problem is not with the coolant level but most likely the ect engine coolant temp sensor this will explain why the temperature gauge not working. Go to autozone or similar and have vehicle scanned for codes
If the engine light comes on there should be a code recorded in the CPU to indicate which sensor is causing a problem. Run fault codes to see if a fault code is recorded
some times you can change the oil and clear the code at times the solenoid goes bad and it just bolts in if the engine got really sludgy the valve assembly needs replacement a oil flush wouldn't hurt to try
