Drivers side seatbelt is fully locked and will not engage so it can be extended and utilized. Is there any simple fix

not really there is a check ball in these, that work with the movement of the car (easiest way to say it) so when you start to come to.a stop, this check ball moves and locks the seatbelt , if your car was in.a.accident then.have it replaced, but if not and you are pulling on it and it is staying locked, then the safest thing to do is replace the seatbelt

I have a 2005 Renault Modus 1.4 16v that is not starting. The starter doesnt even engage. There are a bunch of other weird faults too.

I think you should check the wiring and grounds. These many problems all at same time happens due to wiring only.

Reset Nissan Altima seatbelt light which is flashing

A scan tool is needed to reset the seatbelt light, unhooking the wires turned the light on as a fault, a scan tool will reset code. also make sure all connectors are connected good, the computer may reset itself after it sees a few key cycles and tests the system and it passes but it may take awhile. i have seen some that will stay on until they are reset, if the light is still on after all this time then a scan tool will be needed to turn off the light. good day.

Warning light came on this morning, figure of a man with the seatbelt. What does this indicate?

This is the seatbelt indicator, its not seeing that your seatbelt is fastened ifthe light stays on and the chime keeps going off.

There is a switch inthe seatbelt that closes when the seatbelt is buckled, and if not, thelight stays on and the chime goes off.

There are a couple reasons thiscould happen. It could be a wiring issue going to the seatbelt buckle,or more likely the buckle itself. Your truck is pretty new, so if youare under 36,000 miles the repair would normally be covered underwarranty.

Also, I suggest check the Repair Manual for Jeep-WK-Grand-Cherokee-Section-08O-Restraints (page 473 and next, for Seat Belt)

Hope helps with this (remember rated this) Good luck.

most likely if you look under the 2 front seats and inspect the wires that come from the belt you'll find a broken wire. just repair broken wire and you'll be back in business.

The SRS light stay on

SRS stands for supplemental restraint system. You have a problem with the airbag system. The seat belts have sensors to let air bag module know if they are buckled. Could be a bad buckle seat belt will work fine .This may be a common problem is why they said seatbelt problem
