SOURCE: PT Cruiser Brake Light

The bulb in the rear light has burned out and to replace it follow these instructions: 1) go to your owner's manual to find out the part number. You can find and purchase the replacement bulb at Target, any auto parts store and even at Walmart for under $4.00; 2) pop open the trunk door; 3) get a phillips screw driver and unscrew the 2 screws holding the rear brake light fixture to your car body; 4) as soon as you turn over the fixture you'll see where to pull out the burned out bulb and replace it with the new one(s). Good luck!

I have a 2006 Chrysler PT cruiser 2.4L engine, gets a P0562 low voltage code on the TCM and 0700 on PCM/ECM/ECU.

code p0562 refers to system voltage low---or ECM power relay control--open circuit ===causes for both ---wiring---poor connection ---battery--- alternator
and wiring ---ecm relay
If the voltage is low then the ECM relay may be not able to remain closed all the time.
code p0700 refers to transmission control module (TCM) MIL ----malfunction===causes wiring ---- TCM
from the first code --it suggests that the power from the alternator is below requirement and the electronics are malfunction because of it
check all wires and connections are clean and tight
check for good ground wires on the engine and battery terminals are shiny clean and tight
I would suggest a load test on the battery as if it is failing then the charge from the alternator will be going to the battery and starving the electronics
bench test the alternator as it may be the regulator as well
TCM controls the transmission functions

Is there a transmission control relay for the tcm on a 2006 pt cruiser 2.4 non turbo

The is a fuse for the transmission. Label EATX. The TCM is built into the PCM.

2006 pt cruiser code p0700 tcm should i change it

Transmission needs servicing, the likliehood of the PCM or TCM sensor failing is severly unlikely.

What is a transmission control system malfunction? and what does po 882 mean

PO882 (tcm power signal input low) You either have a wiring problem, or the TCM Tranmission Control Module is bad in the PCM

I have a 2002 PT Cruiser and it won't start. The PCM, Crankshaft sensor, Camshaft sensor, and Battery have all been replaced. There are not DTC codes on the car and the timing belt was replace nine months...

TRY LOOKING IN THE FUSE BOX UNDER THE HOOD.
OPEN IT AND LOOK FOR A RELAY MODULE WITH "ASD, OR ADS" OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT, ON IT.
IT WILL BE THE SAME LOOKING AS SOME OF THE OTHER RELAYS.
TRADE IT FOR THE "HORN" RELAY, THEY ARE THE SAME.
NOW TRY TO START YOUR CRUISER.
IF IT STARTS, GO TO THE AUTO PARTS STOR AND BUY A GENERIC RELAY TO REPLACE.
