How do i install thermostat in 84 gmc s15 jimmy

No there are no reset buttons on any of the guages. Does it read 260 always? if so try taqpping on it lightly and if it still is stuck, replace thye guage.

they are up to 1988 I beleave for the basic parts as long as you are in the same generation things should go well someone correct me if I am wrong
