to check the radiator fan you can look in the fuse box area and find the fan relay, pull that black relay and if the fan stops thats what it is. if it doesnt then its something else but probably the fan and should be electronically diagnosed, atleast you can check to see if it is that by pulling that fuse according to the diagram on the relay cover underside.

all you have to do is take one loose at time to change them.as you change them put the plug wire back on.

The car either has to be leaking oil, or burning it out the exhaust. You should check to see if there is oil on the bottom of the engine. If clean, it can be burning oil cause rings or shot, emisssion system sucking it back through the engine, etc. Your engine should be in good condition since only 55K miles, unless it got overheated or something. You have to remove the oil filler cap and then remove the fancy black plastic cover which is labeled "DOHC 16V" and which has the Hyundai emblem on it.

U are correct but that warranty in Nigeria is only for six months. Pls I want to bear the burden . who can do this? I read that the extent of damage determines if it can be repaired or not. In this case, I presume a transistor is blown since it is only one of the plugs that is not firing! every other function is OK.
