Is this when car is moving or just standing still and revving ? either way i would get it looked at ASAP as grinding noises aren't good and you could have serious damage , may just be a drive belt bearing or something much worse , would need to actually see vehicle to be more precise so get it to a mechanic
SOURCE: grinding noise coming from under driver floor board
You have a u-joint in the rear drive shaft that is no good..Look under the truck at every one and look for rust next to the caps..Also look at the mid shift bearing that is in the center of the rear drive shaft. It is bolted to the frame and the drive shaft goes through the center of it..Hope this helps you and that is almost 100% the problem I promise..Have a great night....

SOURCE: squealing or clicking sound and then next day
Squealing usually indicates that the brakes are in need of replacement. There is a small piece of metal that as the brake pads wear comes in contact with the metal rotor. When the pads get close to being worn away the tab touches the rotor and it squeals. The tab can also click.
When the pads are worn away completely the metal backing comes in contact with the rotor and it grinds. Grinding is bad. It means the car's brakes are metal to metal. This will cause damage to the rotors resulting in an even more costly brake job.
You should have it taken care of ASAP.
I hope this helps.

sounds like a wheel bearing is going out. you need to get this checked out pretty soon because this can cause more severe problems down the road

Hello
This noise problem is caused by the rear differential ring and pinion gears and or worn spider gears, the ring and the pinion gears are worn and this causes the classic gear whine symptom you hear, the only solution for this is to replace the ring and the pinion gears of the rear differential, due to the very high cost of this repair (about $1000.00) I would advise you to just live with it, if you can't do that the repair requires special equipment (precise setup of gear mess patterns) and a highly trained drive-line technician, if the rear gears are not set up correctly (Pinion Gear depth, side play and back lash) in a very short time you will develop the same whinning noise again, the gears and other parts needed to do this repair are in the range of $500.00, so getting it right the 1st time is a must.
I have rebuilt 100's of rear ends/differentials over my 35 year career, i am a certified master technician in drive line repair and diagnosis.
SOURCE: Grinding noise while driving
hello, this is cause for concern, and may or may not be serious and safety related. if possible, the vehicle should be parked on level, solid ground and the rear wheel that is suspect should be lifted about 1 to 2 inches off the ground. observe all the appropriate safety precautions associated with this procedure. be careful not to place or have any of your body parts under the vehicle at any time. spin the wheel by hand and observe. next you might grab the tire firmly at its 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions and attemp to shake or rock the wheel, of course not to such degree that might dislodge the car from the jack. repeat the shake test with hands at 6 and 12 o'clock. what is observed from these three activities will determine the next steps.
the possible causes of the sound are many, including.....
loosened caliper bracket
failed rear brake pad hardware, allowing a brake pad to contact the rotor when brakes are not applied
sticking or siezed brake caliper
distorted backing plate rubbing on the rotor
failing wheel bearing
failing rear lower ball joint, causing wheel to rotate out of its specified position
..... and of course noises heard while driving can be tricky, the noise may be coming from somewhere else although it sounds like it is from there.
if self jacking and checking is not possible, then a reliable mechanic must be visited and it is to your advantage if you make yourself present during a test drive and then removal of the wheel, first to have the noise observed and verified by the technician, and then to observe firsthand with he or she the initial findings. you want to avoid the possibility of receiving a phone call from the repair facility and hearing " it needs everything ".
so, safety first, and then one step at a time.

This is when im driving when sitting still reving nothing when put in reverse something pops also when put in drive it will pop and then pull out it starts
i would get the transmission oil checked as a starting point , i would think it is something to do with the drive train as only occours when in gear , very difficult to give a better opinion online , i'd recommend taking to a mechanic ASAP as things can only get worse
