Why my 2008 chevy avalanche crank over, but won't start.
Your fuel pump is dead. It happens. It's not security. Security will pump up pressure then turn the pump and injectors off. The vehicle will run for about two seconds and die. If you have checked the fuel fuse and replace the relay. the pump is dead. The guy on top has a 98 vehicle. You can't bypass your security. You have pass lock III.
Sounds to me like your security system is failing. I had this happen to my chevy. I did a lot of research and found a company that sells a module to bypass it and allow the car to run.. this is a part that you can install on your own and the company guarantees it. they have great customer service if you have any question . I did mine almost 5 years ago and my car is still running great. check it out see if u think its your issue, hope it helps ya out. good luck Do It Yourself GM Security bypass
Yes you need to do a basic diagnostic on this vehicle have someone turn it over check for spark at the plugs hit the F you button to see if you have fuel pressure on you feel real and see if there are any codes in your computer

first of all you must make sure that you don't have a security like coming on anti theft system if this light is coming on the car will not start no matter what you do if there is not a security problem you can get some starting fluid spray to the intake if it cranks up and run then you know that either the fuel pump is bad or the cam sensor is bad

There is no magic fix button provided as standard equipment on your vehicle. You will need to perform standard diagnostic procedures to ascertain the source of the failure to start.
Begin by doing a readout of all stored codes from the ECU. This will give you a starting point from which to proceed in diagnosis. Check all systems, including FUEL, IGNITION, and SECURITY.
Testimonial: "Thank you Dale. It hava no fuel pressure, and the fuses are good, any idea?"
Pretty sure your vehicle has an INERTIA SWITCH. Not sure of the location. The intertia switch will trip if there has been a collision or a sharp jar to the vehicle, and is designed to shut the fuel pump off.

Have you check the fuel pump is actually pumping and that the fuel lines are not clogged. if there is a blockage it could be the reason you have no fuel pressure.

So far nothing has work. Replaced the fuel pump, fuel model, and the machine tells me that he still can't get the car to start. Please God help me. This car broke down on me 3 days after I bought it.
