There is now specific toqure for wheel bearing nuts in general .
Its more of a feel thing bring it down slowly with no brake parts interfering when you rotate the rotor. You will fell it getting harded to turn .You want some restiance but not to much .
And I find a lot of times when the bearings have been replaced repacked you have to retighten them after a few thousand miles .
Its common sence the bearing has to be tight so the wheel isn't moveing side to side but it has to spin freely or the bearing will be distroyed .
SOURCE: chey aveo front hub bearing what is this?
yes front wheen drives have hub bearings. Most of them need the hubs to be pressed apart to replace them. the hub bearing supports the end of the CV drive shaft closest to the wheel. hope that helps.

SOURCE: How do I change a bearing in the right front
Yes it will be. The wheel bearing on this vehicle is a sealed bearing that is pressed into the knuckle. The knuckle will need to be removed from the vehicle and brought to a machine shop to have the bearing pressed out and the new one pressed in.
The knuckle is not difficult to remove. Separate the outer tie rod from the knuckle then the lower ball joint. Remove the axle nut. Remove the caliper and rotor, and then the knuckle to strut bolts.
It is really common for these to wear out the hub (the part with the wheel studs in it). You may be able to find a hub and bearing kit in the aftermarket or you may have to get a hub from the dealer. You won't know until the hub is separated from the bearing.
Once it is back together is is vitally important that the axle nut is torqued to the proper spec. Failure to do this will cause the new bearing to fail prematurely. I will also suggest getting a good quality bearing. Not necessarily the most expensive but one from a reputable supplier.

SOURCE: how to replace front wheel bearrings on a 2005 aveo
the front wheel bearings on this model are pressed into the knuckle. This means the knuckle will need to be removed from the vehicle and then brought to either a machine shop are a repair facility than can press the old bearing out and then press in the new bearing.
Removing the knuckle should be fairly self explanatory.
-Separate the tie rod from the knuckle.
-remove the brake caliper.
-remove the rotor.
-remove the axle nut.
-separate the lower ball joint from the knuckle.
-remove the drive axle from the hub.
-remove the knuckle from the strut.
It is very important that the axle nut be torqued to the proper spec once the bearing has been replaced. Failure to do so will result in the bearing failing prematurely. It is also advisable to get a bearing from a quality, reputable, manufacturer. This is not the time to shop with you check book but it also doesn't mean you need the most expensive one either.
