SOURCE: Missing. I get a

That code is a random misfire code. You want to check the fuel regulator first to see if it is leaking. This is a common problem with this engine and will cause all the symtoms you have and maybe more at times. On the driver side of the engine in the intake area about half way you will see a little round metal thing on the fuel rail with a vacume line going to it.Pull the vacume line off and see if there is gas there. There should be NO wetness there at all. If there is you will need to replace that and that will solve your problem. If not let me know and we will go from there. Hope this helps.....Thanks...Dan

SOURCE: po302 code comes on my 2002 chevy tahoe

The code means the computer has detected a drop in RPM for cylinder number 2. If you know compression is good, it has to be spark or fuel.
Have you checked for power and signal for the injector with a low voltage test light ? Do you know for a fact the coil is firing on that cylinder ?

Will a security system on 2001 Chevy Tahoe prevent the engine from getting spark

Hello. Yes, your Chevrolet's security system will 'shut-down' the ignition system; causing your truck to start but stop instantly. The truck 'thinks' it is being 'stolen' and will 'enable' it's security system to 'hamper' stealing it. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

2001 tahoe 5.3L have a slight miss at idle no check engine if changed wires an plugs but still missing

Check Compression on that cylinder. Also consider coil pack on that cylinder. You can swap coil packs on most cars so you can try that to see if miss moves.

I have a Chevy 2006 Tahoe. The truck is missing and sometimes struggle to go when i press the gas. Most of the time the problem is noticable when the car is stopped, it begins to kind of jump or shake.

Sounds like a cylinder is missing spark. These have "coil packs" for each cylinder, which is a coil and plug wire all in one. They do go bad, and any garage should be able to check them easily.

One of the coil packs is not working on a 3800 V 6

have you tried changing the coil pack? they are simply a coil of wires inside. they easily go bad. just to be sure switch one of the coil packs to make sure its not a problem with the wiring, if the problem switches cylinders replace the coil pack

I have a 1999 Chevy Tahoe and yesterday while on freeway it just shut off so I sat for about 2 hours and then it started whent for about 10 minutes and it shut off again. Sat for about 30 minutes and it...

Probably your coil pack. That's usually how they act. They'll give you one extra chance to get home, and that's it. If it's not that then it's probably the fuel pump or filter, but the fact that it started again leads me to believe it's your coil pack.
