Lamp failure sensor it sit in thetrunk next or the hinge
the harness falls down and gets stuck and short out the
wire harness repair harness replace little yellow box
it start with 89373 ,make sure you have the the right
sensor easy to locate please reply let me know if

wires are pinched and shorting together near the left (drivers side) trunk hinge. brake light power is feeding back through the reverse light wiring. this will also turn on the check engine light with a neutral safety switch malfunction code as the computer also sees this voltage in the reverse light circuit. Find and repair the wiring, pull the EFI fuse in the panel under the hood to clear the code. Hope this helps

If you can pull the key out of the ignition while it is running then the key is probably worn out. If you have a spare key use it or have a new key cut. As far as the fuse box not having any power look for a main fuse that comes off the battery to the fuse box. There has to be a main fuse blown,fusible link burned out, or a loose wire somewhere. You really should not try to "ghetto rig" starting the car or you can short out components all the vehicle.

Have you looked under the hood? There are more fuses under the hood. Is your dimmer turned down on your dash lights?
