Hi. I need to know much much more about what you have tested and done to help. Please get a test light and test for pulse on the negative side (Clamp the test light to power on the battery). Have someone help you and crank the engine over while you check to see if the test light is flashing while they are cranking the engine over. If no flash occurs check wiring and igniter. If flashing does occur then the coil is bad. Please let me know how you are making out. Good Luck.
the engine is cranking, turning over but not starting
unlikely to be a fuel pump
run the fault codes and look for crank/cam position senor problems , ignition control module problems, ignition switch problems
You have a serious wiring issue. No way it will start if engine does not crank. Why isn't the starter turning? Is it good? Is it getting power? if not, did you go to power source and check? start relay?
You need power on both sides of the coil with key on engine off. With test light on neg side of coil you should get flashing light with engine cranking. No flashing indicates no trigger from ign module. No flashing can also mean the pick-up is faulty. To check pick-up dissconnect from module and use analoge meter set on ohms.Check meter movement during crank. If o/k check rotor for burn through.and change module.
