You need to check wiring first. After that would be the ECM. You need wiring diagrams/pinouts and a volt/ohm meter.
Is that still not going to let it get any spark to plug wires
Yes. If you have no power or ground to the sensor, it won't work. If the return signal isn't getting to the PCM, it won't work. These can be bad wires or a bad PCM. Wires and such need checked first, before buying a PCM and then it needs programmed to the car.
Time doesn't cost you anything if you do it yourself. Chasing wires, take time.

turn the key to the on position a see if you can here a buzzing sound around the fuel tank,if you don't hear a sound then. (be very careful while doing this) with the key off take a fuel line coming from the tank loose, make sure its pointed away from you and turn the key to the on position, see if any gas comes out,if not then your fuel pump is probably bad.
SOURCE: need to find and replace crankshaft position
If you have a 2.0 or a 2.4L engine, it is located on the bottom backside of the motor that faces the cab area. You need to jack the car to get to it because of the low ground clearance of the car. I have a 1997 Stratus and replaced mine already.
Ask if you have more questions.

If you can get a magnet....use it to pull it out...has to be a stong one....like on the back of a audio speaker. That's the part that's stuck right? Is there any part of it sticking out?
