Loud knocking is expensive, light knocking is cheaper, knocking while going up hill is that you need higher grade of gas

SOURCE: Where is the fuel filter located for Buick Century 2001

The fuel filter is located underneath the car in front of the gas tank.
You have release the fuel pressure. Remove the fuel filler cap, locate the fuel test port on the fuel rail on the passenger side on the end of the right real fuel rail for a 3.1L engine.
3.8L engine yhr test port is located at the pressure regulator under the trim cover.

SOURCE: 2001 Buick Century shift solenoid

It is in the side cover on the valve body. The transmission needs to be removed to access the solenoids.

WHAT DO YOU THINK COULD BE THE CAUSE OF MY 2001 BUICK CENTURY KNOCKING? EVERYTHING ELSE SEEMS FINE.

Usually if you hear a nocking from the engine, its a bent rod. If its super loud however, it could be a piston connecting rod, which means you may need new crank bearings, and possibly a new crank. If its a very light sounding tic, it could just be loose lifters/rockerarms. All of the above should be done by a licensed mechanic. Have a mechanic listen to it, and check it out.

How do i if a rod is kncking

If the rod is knocking you hear like a rhythmic ticking/clacking sound coming from the top side of the motor right under the intake. Changing or adjusting the rods isn't very hard to do and should be fairly inexpensive.

My 1998 buick century is knocking, oil level is good and the knock gets louder when pressing the gas

it sounds like the connecting rod bearings on the piston or the mainbearing has spun on the crank shaft

My car goes dead when i put on my brakes and my choke is sticking and i have a rod knocking it is a 1987 buick century 4 cylinder

A knocking rod is a serious mechanical problem--maybe time for either a replacement engine or a replacement car. The other problems are relatively minor--the engine dying when braking may be due to a poor battery connection or cable. Try turning the lights on to see if that also causes the engine to quit. A sticking choke is generally repaired by a thorough cleaning of the carburetor. Check with a local auto wrecking yard for a replacement engine. Hope this helps!

How to fix the lock on a 1996 buick century. Someone unlocked my door at work through the bottom of the window cause i locked the keys up. Well he odviously broke it or something cuz my lock wont do...

You must remove the door trim and reseat and straighten all the command rods from the lock unit that have been bended out of shape. This is a delicate work, best left to someone who has done this before.
