My daughter called to say the T&C wouldn't start. When I got there the battery was down on it. I jump started it, while I was charging it, I could see the digital dash was working, when I finally got the van started, the digital dash lights up, but there is no information on it. The gauges, tach, speedo, odometer don't display anything, it lights up, and when the key is first on it shows all the segments on. There is a * that blinks on and off right by the word TRIP, I haven't seen it before, and I am guessing it means no data. I also found that the rear lift gate won't release, the interior lights don't come on when the doors are opened, though they come on when individually turned on, and the wipers work on low and high, but not intermittent. When I shut it off, the fasten seat belt light goes on and off and it I turn the instrument panel dimmer up or down it will blink faster or stop. Anyone else run across anything like this?

I had the same problem and it happen to be my battery. 05 Town and country lx.
SOURCE: dash lights are staying on/van cuts off after start
Vheck for a dashboard groung wire. It should be aon the passenger end screwew to the dash frame and the body ofthe vehicle. AND! There is a ground strap from the engine to the body. It is on a bolt on the top of the engine in a spot the engine is nearest to the body. Make sure all grounds are cleN AND SECURE, GOOD LUCK,_NED_
SOURCE: turned key..nothing happened, dead, no dash lights
Check ALL Power and Ground connections coming off the Battery to circuit anchor points. Ignition and Services fuses for a Power supply. If all proves ok, then go to the Main Ignition control Relay and check the condition of the Pins and Recepticles. That is where your apparent problem may eventually be. But travel the initial route first, looking and feeling for Loose or Dirty connecting points.
