The turning signals on my 2000 Dodge Durango stopped working i already changed the sensors, the15a and the flasher unit/relay. The emergency lights work. What else could it be? I was thinking it was the multifunction handle but I'm not sure.

SRY. Maybe the fuse

he said that he had checked the 15 amp fuse already; i agree may be that switch itself~ some will crack it open to see the circuit board dirty and or fried like a fuse and repair it or they just replace the whole switch altogether

SOURCE: Turn signal stopped working 1990 Mercury Cougar

I had the same problem and the flasher is not located in the fuse box because it is not a normal flasher. the cougar has an electronic flasher unit that is located on the left side of the center console. the best and cheapest place to order a new one is amazon.com. they run about $30-$40

SOURCE: I have A 2000 Chevy 3500 Express Van and the brake

Hi,

When you said that you checked the brake switch, did you check it live? Meaning verified live power to the switch, press switch, and then power came out the other terminal?

If so, also verify zero power on brake press, at the offending brake light bulb terminal. You must verify the test light each time you move it...leave running lights on...

After verifying that there is no power coming, after the brake is pressed, note the wire color and find it where it comes to the steering column and test there... This would eliminate wires and connections between front and the rear of the vehicle, unlikely, but needs to be tested.

After verifying no power at that terminal, then yes the t/s switch is certainly suspece. This may be the time to get a mechanic to verify and replace the switch, there are locks, tilt mechanisms, air bags, column bearings, etc involved. Failures risk loss of vehicle control (locking or binding for example.)..

Hope this gets you going in the right direction.

Testimonial: "Thank You. I tried those things and it seemed to be the Emergency Flasher switch in the multi function switch."

SOURCE: my 2000 dodge durango turn signal lights stop working.

A Mechanic told me my switch was broken, but the switch was working fine, the lights just stopped flashing. After some research and consulting with a male friend who knows more about this than I, we discovered it was only the turn signal flasher -- a $16.00 part. On the 2000 model, it's located under the dash, on a separate fuse panel I didn't even know was there. It's to the left of the steering column and right behind the main fuse box, but you can only get to it by going up under the dash. The green one is a little hard to get to, but that's the one for the hazard lights. Its easy to see with a good shop light. It's 1" by 1" ish. The turn signal flasher is below the green one. It's black and a little smaller, and much easier to get to. You simply unplug it and plug the new one in. Voila! There are other fuses on this panel -- I'm not sure what they go to, but I intend to find out so I don't waste money replacing parts I don't need to.

SOURCE: 2004 GMC Yukon xl......If I put left turn signal

That vehicle has all three switches attached to the same module. Spray a little wd-40 into the flasher switch. Sometimes the slide on the flasher switch gets a little sticky and won't allow the turn signal to work independently. If that isn't the case, there is a repair kit for that available on ebay. the module of course costs around three hundred to replace but could possibly be found at a boneyard for much less. Also, check ebay for that module. Hopefully the WD-40 will fix it. Good luck.

SOURCE: Turn Signals quit working

Sounds like the turn signal flasher is going bad. The easy way to find wher the flasher is hidden is turn the turn signal on and find the clicking, that is the flasher. The emergency flashers work fine because they use a different flasher.

2006 Dodge Durango. Need help locating the blinker relay on it!?

There isn't one. Turn signals are a feature of the ECM/BCM and are done electronically. The problem is likely to be the switch.

The turning signals on a 2000 Dodge Durango stopped working I already changed the sensors, the 15a and the flasher unit/relay,and the multifunction. The emergency lights work. What else should i do?

If the flasher unit as well as the multi function switch have been replaced with KNOWN good parts and the fuse is good, chances are a power or ground problem in the circuit. The signals may have an additional ignition power source from the battery junction box under the hood. Check all the fuses there as well. IF all fuses ok, electrical diagnostics will need to be performed to isolate the bad circuit

1998 dodge durango, when I turn the key on, or to the lock position, the flasher fuse relay on the driver side makes a loud buzzing sound. I replaced the fuse relay and checked all the fuses. Any ideas on...

IM NOT SURE.
BUT fix the emergency flasher failure
first using the logic, gee you see its busted, why on fix that and pray.
military doctrine does that too, and then says if 2 things wrong fix the simple one first. (getting lucky save time and dead solders)
10x that if related, and is. ! IMO
noise here, and bad emerg.. kind if same area.
the issue with the emerg. flasher is the contacts can mangle inside
and confuse related circuits. flashers, and warning modules.
