But first it has to want to change,?,,,, LOL.....
well you can youtube and see 10,000 folks doing this....
all are same, only the exact spot varies.
what V6 , which size? use real engine names. and no year stated !!
1: drain coolant from bottom of RAD (drain plug or pull hose there)
2: remove hose from thermoatat housing, this is the gets hot first hose to Rad.
3: unbolt , housing
4: remove and replace thermostat, not getting it backwards, or failing to get bleed hole (aka. jiggle pin) up hill.
5: reassemble the housing with proper sealant or gaskets the match you unstated engine. nor year,
v6 2.8L
V6 3.1L 3.2. 3.5L
V6 GM 4.3 (1996 started) FIVE V6's
1991 to 2004 , lots of Rodeos....
the newer rodeos had this lineup.
the reason to know what you have there, is because some housings seal up different, and getting it wrong you get a leak or worse, a floating thermostat from H3LL. (gasket or o-ring or split 0-ring types) some engines change in one model year. that is why I asked the year.
when doing this flush the system with lean tap water.. using a hose. make sure all paths are running free, no MUD.

SOURCE: where is the thermostat for a 2002 isuzu rodeo?
The thermostat is located at the end of the top radiator hose on engine.
SOURCE: does oil go in the transmission of a manual 5sp
No...but transmission grease does. It likely calls for 90 weight tranny grease. There is a plug on the side of the transmission to check the level. should be to the bottom of the threads...good luck, I hope you find this to be very helpful.

Hi, you have to start by removing the fuel pump fuse and start car, when it dies try to start again, no more spluttering just cranking, the fuel system is now depressurised.
You can now disconnect both of the quick disconnect fuel lines at rear lower section of inlet manifold this is hard to get to some access this by removing the EGR valve so you can get your arms down there watch out for sharp edges of manifold. You dont need to take the top section of the inlet manifold off but will need new lower inlet manifold gaskets to head.
Once manifold is off block all intake ports with rag or put tape over ports to stop dirt and stuff falling into ports while continuing to work on the coolant pipes below to get to thermostat. Undo only 4 long centre bolts and the 4 nuts, one in each corner(no.3 in picture).
