Try tapping the wiper motor, with it turned on, with a hammer if it starts the motor is worn and needs replacing. you can try attaching a separate ground wire to the wiper motor if it runs then the motor has lost its ground and you can run it this way.

So on my 2001 ford Windstar I've changed the wiper motor twice and the wiper switch arm also once and they still don't work?

FRONT wipers,. not left gate rear , correct.?

it;s dead or what? not told at all what it does wrong. (or good)
eg. sweeps only ,part way,or never stops or 100& dead>
are both arms dead//.. sorry we can't see it fail..
check all fuss first

scan to PCM 2nd
stop gue$$ing.
or find a shop and out come their votmeter to find it.
can be bad grounds to.
fuse 6 ,30 amps must not be blown
then 2 relays must work"windshield on/off relay AND , windshield wipe speed relay both must be good.
g101 ground near wipe motor
The FEM module, see the stalk set to wiper fast (best) and
then closes both relays and bingo, wiper motor runs
stalk >>>FEM>>>relay1/2>>>>wiper motor
that is how it works
FEM goes dead to if fuse 2 and 113 blow. and fuse 14 too
15 pages in the SM covers power
even a bad ground to the wiper stalk switch, fails.
a tech does the tests the facts (measurements) dictates their actions, tracing the failing path correctly. it is a skill.Not a guessing game.

I have a 2003 Mustang that the wipers stopped working on. I have replaced the motor, switch, relay's and checked all wiring and fuses and I still have no wipers and I am unable to find the right...

You may have a bad wire or it could be in your wiper switch on your steering column. Have you tested to see if you are getting power at the motor?

Windshield wipers stopped working on my 92 cavalier

1= test the faulty wiring or connectors
2= fuse blown or c.breaker tripped
3= wiper switch faulty
4= wiper motor faulty.
5= control electronic board faulty see the diagram
6= wiper linkage is disconnected or damaged.
God bless you

1988 mustang gt no turn signals ,hazards ,wipers,parking lights all work...checked relays,fuses,fusible links and grounds.....help!

More then likely its going to be the turn signal switch itself. With everything else working, the switch fr the signals probably wore out. Keep in mind the car is 21 years old.

Got a 2003 GT convertible, intermittent wipers

The turn signal switch and wiper switch are one unit called a Combo switch. The good news is it is easily changed. After opening the column covers it is held to the side of the column with two torque head screws. You don't have to remove the steering wheel.
