It sounds like a plugged catalytic converter. It's kind of like a muffler type thing on your exhaust system. It burns all the unburned fuel that your engine sends through the exhaust for emission control. After a while they can get plugged up & need to be replaced. It's not letting exhaust out so it's choking your engine.=vibration, smell & backfire. You might be able to limp it to a service garage.. Save yourself a tow charge. Good luck
please I need help..my car is shaking and vibrating when am moving or stoping at redlight..and I cant step on the gas pedal it will start vibrating..so I quickly remove my feet from the gas pedal ...
sounds like a worn out transmission mount try rocking the ****** up and down and if the play in the rubber mount appears excessive this can cause all of the stated problems
This is so common, this sounds like a bad fuelpump, you can be sure by testing for power and ground at the pump connector. another quick test i use that sometimes works is to have someone cranking the engine while you beat on the bottom of the center of tank. this sometimes will vibrate the pump and gettting going, if truck starts replace the pump.
Yes I have repaired both of these concerns on hundreds on 4 cyl. GM models most of the time the bad engine mount is the one on the passenger side of the car.And it is the TCC solenoid that gets stuck on.
Increased vibration from a vehicle indicates worn out engine supports. This vibration often disappears when revving the engine high, but is very noticeable at low revs.
You can have these inspected and possibly replaced to reduce the vibration cominf from your engine.
seems your problem is within your clutch, defective part, usually a defective release bearing will cause gear shifter and pedal vibration but not as bad as yours, but by pressing on clutch pedal vibration stops, point to clutch!
