You did blow the fuse.
you skipped step one in the FSM book
disconnect battery minus lug, (posted here 1000 times)

you blew out, Fuse link A11,
google that and see.

the power wire from the back of my alternator is black, then the last 4 inches that attaches to the PDC is green. would the green part be the fusible link, and if so how do you test it?
easy, batter lugs off.
ohm meter (dmm set to Resistance lowest range)
measure from altenator hug wire to battery plus lug.
if not 0.0 ohms or near, its blown

Check the fuse box, for the one of the main ignition fuse. Usually a 40 - 60 amp breaker

2002 grand cherokee, overland 4,7L engine doesnt

Hi Joko,

What you are describing is a failure of a main circuit. The first thing you should check is yo make sure that your battery is in good condition and that the cables are clean and tight. Let me know if yu find anything wrong there. Then there may be another main circuit problem. Check all of the fuses in your fuse block in the engine compartment. If any of these fuses are blown, it will usually cause several things to not work. If you find any fuses blown, DON'T REPLACE IT YET. Let me know WHICH fuse is blown and I can help you find out why it blew so you can get the problem fixed.

Get back to me on this and we will continue.

Cruise control 2000 jeep grand cherokee

insufficient info. The cruise control has a cable that runs from the servo, located just in front of the battery, to just behind the air intake, to the throttle body. (This is on the 4.7L V8 engine.) Check for that cable being connected at the throttle body. That connect is adjacent to the accelerator cable.
