Gauges flicker when i open the door

Try resetting it with the door key on the drivers door. lock it and unlock it with the door open.

If the guages are flickering it sounds like a weak battery.. Radio doesn't take as much power to run. But when you turn the key on everything powers up and it takes a lot to engage the starter.. Try turning on the headlights, do they look dim?? Either way attempt a jump start if your battery is ok it will not hurt a thing to try.

their are 7 recalls on the 07 none are for an electrical problem with lighting system

my JK push starts but that's and other matter.

my guess, battery dead, but is wild guess on bad inputs.

Sounds like the battery is bad. Replace the battery with a new one then get the old one charged and tested if its good you may have a drain on the vehicle or the alternator may not be charging.

is it the lights of the gauges dont light up or the gauges dont work period? if they dont light up then check the bulbs that are behind the gauge cluster and they could be burnt out i have the flickering prob with my ac hvac controls and half the lights on my gauges dont light up due to bulbs being burnt out i just havent spent the money to get some blue leds to put in there

this is the starter relay your battery is most likley very low or the starter is bad

disconnct negative terminal and reconnect lock and unlock driversw door with the key

You will find a loose or corroded ground some where possibly the battery or maybe the connection to the block.

I had a Dodge Caravan do this same thing to me and we finally found out that the battery was damaged. This was at a dealership I worked at so the mechanics and I tried a few things before we discovered that the problem was in the battery. We even got it started and as we drove the van the gauges were bouncing up and down erratically. Have your battery tested before you buy a new one(most parts store do this free now). A fresh undamaged battery should do the trick. Good Luck
