The fuel filter is located on the drivers side under the truck on the frame rail. look under truck about where drivers seat would be and look inside the frame rail. you may need to look up and down a bit and you will see the filter
For1995 Oldsmobile 98 3.8L SFI OHV 6cyl the Fuel Filter is located under vehicle, passenger side, below seating area, front of fuel tank, mounted on frame in fuel line
Along the frame rail under the car you should see the fuel lines on the driver side. Along the line around the front driver door area there should be a metal barrel, this is the fuel filter.

under the drivers door with a bracket holding the filter on. Be carful some of them have clips holding fuel lines on. might have to tak tank off, but that might lead to a leaking tank,straps a hole lot of mess. Best way is to take off filter, leave off put rubber hose on fuel line and put into a fuel can turn on the key and wait to empty.hope not to much gas in tank.
