Simply press your left foot on the clutch pedal, and move the stick shift to the desired gear. When doing so, please go off the gas pedal with your right foot.
check your fuel pump pressure and I'm sure you changed your fuel filter. Blow compressed air back through fuel line as it may be something floating in tank. Does flow change when gas cap is off? Is this 20 or 22R motor?
I would suggest also replacing all O2 sensors, PCV valve, air filter, fuel filter.. Just might clear it up.. Not expensive and if issue continues - you will have ruled all that out as a cause..
black soot is a running rich condition it's getting to much gas not enough air .. 14-1 ratio air to gas your carb rebuild needs to be rechecked for sticking float..
You replaced the starter, plugs, wires, coil, battery and distributor. That should take care of the spark and the start. My only other guess would be that it isn't getting fuel all the time? Could be a fuel filter or pump. Good luck.
I've had the same problem with my 22r.
I just put silicone gasket ( the stuff you get in the tube for automotive) on top of the o-ring. It added an extra seal plus also hold the o-ring in place when putting the oil pump back on. Never had a problem with the oil pump after that.
Thank you and I will do this.
