  1. -in the cluster VFD
  2. autozoned..
  3. a real scan tooL , where>?
P1450? (seem, to me its not P, zero hits)

the first letter matters, P is power train,
the factory service manual covers that, read that yet.?

click emission.
see those codes now?
if you dont have a scan took ask your local mechanic to scan
it, and advice you.

each code tells the tech when tests he needs to do.
the codes do not ever say < replace part X
only in year 2050? when AI systems evolve.
we still need humans to diagnose all complex systems.

or take the classes an not have to ask ?

Hi Rami:

If I had bought 3 new machines and all 3 developed the same problem with similar very low hours, I would be having a VERY private a friendly chat with the manager of the dealership where I had purchased them. I would be discussing warranty, maintenance, and customer happiness.
Best of luck.

Well code 1450 for a Ford product is a problem with the gas tank venting system.
I would think the pump in the tank is blowing the fuse, and it could be from excessive pressure in the tank.

What is p - 1450 code

Hello, This ia a code saying your vehicle can not bleed fuel tank Vacuum. You can have a loose fuelcap or a hole in the venting system for your gas tank. It is even possible that the gas tank has a hole in it. Or a solenoid is not opening and venting.

First, tighten your fuelcap and if the Codelight is still on, have Autozone or someone wipe the problem from the memory. If nothing seems to help, take your vehicle to a shop having a "Smoke" machine.

The "Smoke" machine is the only way to find leaks in some of the vent tubing.

Getting an engine code 1450 on a 2003 ford Explorer 4.0 SOHC. Cleaned and inspected EVAP canister vent solenoid. Replaced EVAP canister purge valve. Any suggestions?

Did you check the block box connected to the vent solenoid? There's a hose that comes off it that appears to run nowhere, that's the fresh air vent. If it's blocked it won't allow air into the system which will set the trouble code. If that's clear, the vent solenoid itself is bad and needs to be replaced.

If the engine seems to run fine over 1450 RPM maybe there is a vacuum hose leaking or EGR valve is slightly stuck open. Any help from the OBD II trouble codes? Or is there simply no MIL and no stored information in the OBD II computer read at the local parts store through the connector by the drivers knee?
