Hi. I have a verso D4D 2005/6 only 17k miles.
It won't start. Battery voltage test fine but pressing starter button results only in a loud 'click'. Oddly, I was able to start it on leads from another battery giving the same voltage reading.
Ran the car for over an hour, switched off and it now won't start again.
Sound like the battery or alternator?
Thanks
I'm looking to get a new battery for my 05 plate toyota corolla verso. Im trying not to go to Toyota as they charage extortionate prices . Can anyone help as to what battery i will need and is the cheapest batteries on the market worth getting
Please check battery clamps/terminals for corrosion or looseness. with engine running, voltage with all ellectrical loads e.g. aircon, lights and with engine rpm set at 1500-1800, voltage should be over 13 volts to confirm alternator is in order.
