The problem was the motor. Replace the blower motor and resister and it should be fine.
If the blower motor resistor is experiencing repeated failure, the blower motor is likely drawing too much current. Excess current draw from the blower motor will cause the resistor to burn out. The blower motor in your truck has a resistor block with multiple resistor wires. Jun 21, 2023
The blower resister is almost always mounted on the blower assembly itself.
If not on your blower assembly, then locate your blower motor and look for the BLK/TAN wire on the motor, Trace this wire directly to the fan resistor block.

try picking up a blower motor resistor, about 10-20 dollars at a local part store. then check this blog out. REMOVE GLOVE BOX ASSEMBLY LOWER RIGHT SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL TRIM COVER AND RIGHT COWL TRIM PANEL. WHEN YOU WILL SEE BLOWER WIRES THATS WHERE YOUR RESISTOR LOCATED. DISCONNECT BLOWER MOTOR WIRES THEN REMOVE RESISTOR.

It could be the blower motor resistor module.It is located on the passengers side next to the blower motor.Make sure the connections are not melted.Because if they are you will have to replace them also.Hoope this helps.Good luck.
replace your blower motor resistor its about 20 bucks and i could only find one at the dealer i had the same problem 4 months ago if that doesnt work your next option is the blower motor but im 90% sure its the resistor 04 dodges have alot of problems with that resistor burning out it is located on the passenger side beside the blower motor two bolts holding it in it will be a rectangle shaped piece of plastic just un clip it and clip the new 1 in
